Fishing for Moms Birthday

We went fishing this past week at Pine Lake. As you can see we had alot of success. Tyler (3) caught a fish and his dad handed it to him to hold, but he dropped it after a couple of seconds and said, "Dad, you got my hands dirty, I'm leaving." Aaron said he stormed off and that's where I saw him. I actually had camera in hand when he lifted up his hands and said "Mom, Dad got my hands dirty." All Abbey (6) wanted to do was catch wild flowers with her life jacket on....I tried to take it off but she insisted on having it on the whole time.

I love the picture of Easton (8) He is growing up too fast.

Abbey and I caught only one fish and Aaron insisted on taking a picture of it. While we were on the lake we had a good system going. Aaron baited the hooks, Easton took the hooks out of the fish mouth, Abbey ate ( a lot) and Tyler and I just chilled in the sunshine until in started raining. That was an adventure.

Rocker Chick

My kids love to dance to music. Their friends come over and they dance. Their cousins come over and they dance. They dance just the three of them for hours. Its pretty funny to sneak in the door way and watch them. I think overall it is a pretty good past time.

Pet for a Day

Easton found this little rabbit in the "wilderness" (that is what the kids call it) by our house.

Easton was so excited. I wasn't....my first thought was that it probably is full of disease. But I told them they could make a little bed for it by our house. They took these pictures by themselves which I was impressed by. The next day we went on one of our many trips to Salt Lake and when we came home the kids ran to where the rabbit was and sad to say it passed away. They were heart broken but Aaron took them out and buried it and had a little funeral for it...so its all good.
